Founded by Susan Cooper over 30 years ago, Susan Cooper Agency is rooted in connection and relationships between authentic brands and authentic retailers, each with a clear lifestyle and point of view.
A Scandinavian and European influence has always guided Susan’s choices. Norwegian by heritage, she gravitated naturally toward fashion that reflects how she believes life should be lived: laid back, uncomplicated, and easy to wear. Clean design, thoughtful details, and quiet confidence define the brands she represents.
The agency’s approach has remained consistent for more than three decades—aligning the DNA of its brands with the ethos of Western Canadian boutiques, and offering retailers a steady, trusted experience season after season. Susan believes consistency is the foundation of lasting success: staying true to who you are and what you do, through good results, bad results, and everything in between.

FounderSusan Cooper founded her agency in 1992, but her story in fashion began long before that. In the late '80s, a chance introduction through her mother's bookkeeper led her to a filing job at a fashion industry office, and that small yes set everything in motion. She went on to work alongside Toby Rosen, a glamorous and worldly agent who took Susan under her wing and introduced her to style, confidence, and the possibilities waiting for her in the industry. From there, a relationship with Marci Lipman, a pioneering Canadian entrepreneur who began printing art on t-shirts, gave Susan the launchpad she needed to go independent.
In 1995, a gut feeling led her to a Scandinavian brand called Jackpot, and with it, the philosophy that would define the agency for the next three decades: connecting authentic brands with authentic retailers who share a genuine lifestyle and aesthetic. Susan is Norwegian by heritage and laid-back by nature, drawn to fashion that is uncomplicated, easy-to-wear, and rooted in real living. She built Susan Cooper Agency on consistency, connection, and the belief that great selling isn't about selling at all. It's about understanding what people need and showing up to help them build something lasting. Honest, funny, and fiercely loyal, Susan leads the way she was mentored: with belief, generosity, and an open door.

Sales ManagerOlivia has always been surrounded by strong, inspiring women, and that influence lives at the heart of everything she does. She came to fashion with a clear purpose: to create access points for women who are too often excluded from fashion exploration and expression, and to advocate for inclusive sizing in an industry that frequently dismisses it. For Olivia, getting dressed isn't a surface-level act. It's a form of communication, empowerment, and self-determination. She believes deeply that when a woman feels good, she does good.
In her role at Susan Cooper Agency, Olivia serves as the connector between brands and buyers, advising, guiding, and building strategy alongside retail partners to help increase profitability. She works closely with entrepreneurs and small business owners, and finds real fulfillment in being part of another woman's growth story. Confident, authentic, and dynamic, Olivia brings both passion and purpose to every side of her work.
Kelsee Muxlow-Volk
SalesKelsee has been in sales since she was 18, and the experience she's gathered across industries shows in the way she works. She learned the rhythm of a full-day hustle in the pest control industry before finding her footing in the world of weddings and events. By the time she joined Susan Cooper Agency, she already knew how to stay on her toes, go the extra mile, and show up with genuine enthusiasm for whatever the day called for.
Starting in the agency as Sales Support two years ago, Kelsee kept the showroom running: steaming and unpacking collections, managing communications, trying on pieces, and making sure every client visit felt taken care of. She was raised to be the kind of person who offers help before it's asked for, and that instinct shows up every single day. Energetic, kind, and easy-going, she brings a steady warmth to the team. Kelsee is always hungry to keep learning as she enters her next role with the agency, managing the sales for Ichi and b.young.
